Jodorowsky's Dune [Fascinating documentary account of the masterpiece that filmmaker Alejandro Jodorowsky (El Topo, The Holy Mountain) could have made if he had filmed the best selling Frank Herbert sci-fi tome in 1975 as he had planned. The original cast included Orson Welles, Mick Jagger, David Carradine, and Salvador Dali. Interviewees include Michel Seydoux, H.R. Le Week-end [Jim Broadbent and Lindsay Duncan give moving performances in this romantic UK-French dramedy as an older couple who try to rejuvenate their relationship by revisiting a luminous Paris for the first time since their honeymoon. Of course, they go through an emotional roller coaster in the beautiful city. Co-starring Jeff Goldblum, Olly Alexander, and Judith Davis. Legend of Korra, The; Book Two: Spirits [Part two of the popular Nickleodeon animated series based on The Last Airbender. 2014 Unrated. 2 separate rentals.]

Nymphomaniac Volume I and II [Polarizing cult director Lars Von Trier (Dogville, Antichrist) once again pushes people's buttons with this controversial two part drama starring lovely Charlotte Gainsbourg as a self-proclaimed nymphomaniac. In Volume I, the beaten Gainsbourg is found and helped by older man Stellan Skarsgard, who hears her tell the tale of how she became a nympho in her youth. In Volume II, Gainsbourg continues her story into adulthood as she continues her sexual addiction. The all-star cast includes Stacy Martin, Shia LaBeouf, Christian Slater, Uma Thurman, Sophie Kennedy Clark, and Connie Nielsen.  This is the movie that caused a lot of buzz at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival when LaBouef wore a bag saying "I Am Not a Celebrity" on his head on the red carpet. Volume I: 2013.
